Employees of our T&T business units were out in full force on Saturdays, June 20 & July 4 as the company did its part to protect the national community against COVID-19.
Outfitted in branded PPE and armed with brooms, our team of volunteers thoroughly cleaned the Brian Lara and Harris Promenades facilitated by concrete mixers, which dispensed soap and water. The latter, a major attraction for passers-by.
The Minister of Trade & Industry and the Mexican Ambassador to Trinidad & Tobago also joined in the effort (North). So too, the Port of Spain and San Fernando City Corporations and respective Mayors; Managing Director, Jose Seijo; and General Manager, Guillermo Rojo.
Carib Cement has been spearheading a similar project and has so far sanitised 4 public parks in Jamaica, as together, we seek to safeguard our communities under this CEMEX initiative.
All operations have been safe and incident-free.
